Patrick Appelgren manages Universal Publishing Production Music offices in Europe, Middle East & Africa as part of the global management team in his role as Senior Vice President of EMEA.

Patrick’s lifelong passion for music and career as a touring recording artist laid the ground for a now 26-year production music career that started in the 90s at Match Music (Scandinavia).

As the industry developed Patrick took on a journey on which Match Music became BMG Production Music, BMG-Zomba, and finally Universal Production Music, where Patrick was appointed General Manager for the Nordic region where his role developed over time into Vice President of Continental Europe (2018) and Senior Vice President for EMEA (2022).

Besides his work at Universal, Patrick is entrusted as Board member for both the International Production Music Group and Swedish Production Music Association.
