Juliette Metz is Encore Merci’s GM and BAM’s Head of International & Copyright.
Juliette started in the music business in 1988 at Mino Musicwhich was the publishing company of her uncle Renaud(French author, composer and singer). She participated in the creation of Encore Merciwith her other uncle David Séchan in 1995 where she became the Executive Director, position that she retains at the time of the sale of the company to BAM Musicin June 2022 where she also holds the position of Head of International & Copyright. Encore Merci is specialized in Production Music.
Chairwoman of CSDEM (French Music Publishers Association) since 2016, she signed the French code of uses and good practices for the publishing of musical works, a founding text between authors, composers and publishers.
She was the Chairwoman of the French Production Music Association (ULM) from 2009 to 2014, and has been its Vice-President since 2014.
Juliette also initiated, with Edwin Cox from West One Music Group, the Production Music Committee within ICMP (International Confederation of Music Publishers) which has become the International Music Production Group (IPMG).
She has been the Chairwoman of this group from 2014 to 2018 and is a board member since 2018.
She was a mentor for four years in MEWEM, a women’s mentorship program for music industry professionals, and now serves as Secretary of the Association managing the program.
Juliette was appointed to the professional council of the French National Music Center in August 2020 for 3 years, and has been elected at the board of SACEM in June 2022, of which she was elected secretary general for the 2024/2025 year.
